Hello all my music lovers! I know I was gone for a while. Well I am finally back with serious dose of Hip Hop! Today I had the chance to sit in on The Global Spin Awards Press Conference! The Global Spin Awards is an award show honoring the Dee Jay. Yes, Dee Jay are finally getting their dues.
I am also happy to see some of the dee jays ( KID Capri, Funk Master Flex, and DJ Premier) are being honored at the Global Spin Awards. I have to saw it was a mind blowing experience to see some of the biggest names in hip hop in one room. We all remember when Kid Capri would say --Its the KIIIDD Capri or when Funk Flex Dropped bombs on the hot record of the summer! We all know DJ Premier and how he brought some the hottest and aunthentic hip hop records to the airwaves!
Global Spin Awards will have tons of great categories including DJ of the Year, DJ Remixer, DJ Entrepreneur, Best DJ Album, Female DJ Of The Y Celebrity DJ of the Year! Oh I almost forgot to mention Funk Master Flex will be the recipient of the Legendary DJ Award and DJ Premier with receive the Global Spin Award Lifetime Achievement Award.
